Summer League Round 1 cancelled / NBVA #6 - Results

NBVA #6 was a really nice and smooth event after the hustle and bustle of the NSW State Open. The weather started out with a bit of drizzle but continuously got better during the day. Please join us in congratulating our winners:

Summer League is about to get into gear and we need you to start registering for it. You can still register via email to "league@nbva.org.au". Please check the calendar for all the dates for the Summer League. Round 1 will start on Saturday 6/2/2010.

The next Players Information Meeting is next Sunday 7/2/2010 - 4:30pm at Manly Library! Please make sure you attend and voice your opinion. This is YOUR forum to tell us what we can do better and/or different. The ideas of the last two information meetings have been captured during and can be found here (2009) and here (2008).

NSW State Open Results

What a weekend - the NSW State Open payed Manly a decent weekend and brought some spectacular beach volleyball back to Manly Beach.  The sun was burning down to challenge all the athletes and their performance. Our local Olympic legends Kerrie Pottharst and Julien Prosser came down to watch the games and we could not get Julien of the mic for commentating the mens final - the crowd loved it.  Pictures can be found here.
