The Steyne Open - NBVA#2

Thanks to the support of The Steyne Hotel and Amazon Power, the NBVA is very pleased to announce a cash prize pool for the 2008/2009 season.

Both the Steyne Hotel Open on the 9th of November and the Amazon Power Open on the 14th of December will be offering cash prizes to the most successful teams.

The Steyne Hotel will also be providing cheap beer ($3.50), finger food and a great venue for the after tournament parties, which will kick off after the final at the Rooftop Bar. (Don't forget to bring your membership card for the cheap beer).

Registration to "The Steyne Open" NBVA #2 on Sunday - 9/11/2008 is now open. This is the first tourney this season with a prize money. It is also the first State Tour Event (out of 6).

Please do not forget the following things:
  • Tourney registration will close on the 7/11/2008 - 6pm; You can still registered on the tournament day but you will incur a $10 surcharge per player
  • See instructions if you need help with the registration
  • Membership levels and Tourney fees
  • If you are a FULL or GOLD NBVA memberUSE YOUR USERNAME that you have created last time as your membership is bound to this
  • Use the "Forgotten Username/Password" function to retrive your username or password (all you need is your emailaddress and/or your membership card number
  • NOwomen in the men's divisions (A & AA) - e.g. no mixed teams
The Steyne Open - NBVA#2/SVNSW#1 prize table:

Men and Womens AA:
1) $400
2) $250
3) $150

Men and Womens A:
1) 2x Wilson Volleyball, 2x free Tourney Entry Voucher, 2X NBVA Vintage Wine
2) 2X NBVA Vintage Wine, 2x free Tourney Entry Voucher

... and a "Surprise Prize" for two lucky NBVA members.

The prizes are only available if there are more than 8 teams per divison. Prizes will be presented and handed over at the winners presentation at the Steyne Rooftop Bar after the tournament. Winners have to present at the presentation, otherwise they are not eligeble to claim the prize. Exception: Advise the tournament director of non attendance before the tournament pack up.
