Thank you to all the players that participated in the first NBVA event in 2012.  It was our biggest event so far this season! 

Players observed a minute's silence to remember our fellow member Steven Gerits who passed away recently.  He will be dearly missed by his friends and loved ones.

Court Usage and Next Tournament

Due to the filming for Amazing Race Norway the beach volleyball courts in Manly will not be available for use on Sunday 22 January 2012 between 1pm-4pm.

The Australian Open Surfing event will take place in Manly from 11-19 February 2012.  Set up will begin from 30 January 2012 and pack up will have concluded by 24 February 2012.  Unfortunately this competition will take up space in and around the volleyball courts and Manly Council have advised that the courts will not be available to members during this time.

Please also note that the Manly Surf Carnival is being held on 28 January 2012 we will be rescheduling NBVA #6 from 28 January.  It is likely that this event will be moved to Sunday 5 February 2012.  The committee will be meeting in the next week and the new date will be confirmed shortly.
